2 Days to Go: Who do you want as your next Judge? Let’s continue to talk about why more experience matters. INNOVATION

Innovation in today’s world is a significant factor in the judiciary. Things change whether we like it or not. A Judge needs to be innovative to accomplish positive outcomes when things change. The law and justice system are always moving forward. A judge must be able to adapt to this changing environment to maintain fair access to justice and public safety.

As a prosecutor for 28 years Michael Moore has innovated his office to maintain public access and keep the public safe. Mike was one of the first State’s Attorney offices’ to have a full-time victim coordinator position to focus on the needs of the victim and to give the victim a voice. When the law changed and forced alternatives to incarceration Mike created the position of Diversion Coordinator to build relationships in the community to ensure people were held accountable and that victims and people felt safe. Mike focused on restorative justice including restitution through community based programs. Mike’s office went paperless over 10 years ago which crated time and space to focus on new things. Mike has a history over the past 28 years of innovating to meet the needs of the times. Mike was and is a leader when it comes to working and creating partnerships to move forward.

If INNOVATION is important to you; Then Moore Experience Matters.
