A portion of CityCentre at Big Spring's site will consist of public space. Williams Street (directly in front) will be narrowed to engage Big Spring Park and increase open space so that events, such as outdoor concerts, art in the park and other family activities are directly connected to CityCentre and pedestrian mobility is generally improved in this part of the CBD. The area fronting the Park will include comfortable, shaded seating areas and restaurants with alfresco dining and at least two “jewel box restaurants”, public art, landscaping, and hardscapes that encourage interaction among guests, shoppers, workers and residents of the neighborhood.
