Welcome to my page. I want to begin by introducing myself and tell you a little bit about my page. For those of you who don’t know me, I am Sandy Phillips Kirkham. My story is one of abuse, more specifically, clergy s*xual abuse by my youth pastor. Sadly, this is not just a Catholic issue. Clergy abuse touches all faith communities. Over the past year, I have been telling my story through the writing of my book.

While my book is not quite ready for publication, I want to start sharing my story with you here. I hope to provide, through my story, a place for education, and a place where misconceptions and misunderstandings about clergy abuse may be addressed. In discussing this issue we can all learn and help prevent future abuse. Most importantly, I want to provide a place of hope and healing for all survivors.
