Our mission is to connect every individual to the love of Jesus and create lasting change by building relationships, strengthening schools and families, and bridging gaps in our neighborhoods. Second Mile is a locally founded nonprofit (501 C3) corporation that serves the Terry Heights/ Hillendale community and beyond through our four programs: Pride for Parents, The 29:11 Story, Second Mile Preschool, and Parent Initiative.

We are so excited to welcome our friend Deidra Willis aka The Bougie Farmer to Second Mile the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. She will be here selling local, fresh, affordable produce from 5:00-7:00 pm. Second Mile Development is located at 2710 Holmes Avenue, stop by and say hello! Did we mention that Deidra also happens to be our very favorite Sonnie Hereford Elementary School bus driver!
