1. Go to https://dph1.adph.state.al.us/marriage/ , fill out the information.

2. Coordinate a notary appointment with ME & get it stamped. Whether you’re having a ceremony or not. Alabama does NOT require a ceremony!

3. File the certificate with your local probate court. There’s a $89 filing fee. You have 30 days to file this document. Once you file it, you are legally MARRIEDDD. 😁

**Your date of marriage is the date you signed your certificate, not the day you file it**
