One of the MOST UNIQUE parts of the
Fly In Festival is that it takes place at
Robert Newlon Airpark I41, an Active Grass Runway Aiport, Home of the West Virginia Skydivers, the famous Fly In Cafe, and a Full Service Good Sam Campground. When we first started the Festival, we constructed the Main Stage at the edge of the Runway, so that Pilots could park & camp near the stage, and spectators could view the Aviation & Skydiving, while enjoying the music throughout the day on the stage. As always, we welcome aviators to FLY IN, park, purchase Single-Day or Weekend Tickets for the Music, and Under-Wing Camp behind the Stage for FREE !!!
Showers & Restrooms are located above the Stage in the Main Building, and there is Vendor area, and a large Pavilion overlooking the Main Stage for shade & shelter, which also includes our 2nd stage, that will feature music throughout the 11th Annual Fly In Festival , as well as the Thursday Evening Potluck Dinner to kick the entire event off.

This week's Artist Profile for the 11th Annual Fly In Festival
is Sasha Colette & The Magnolias. They will be landing on the Fly In Festival Stage SATURDAY JULY 25th at 9:30 pm.
Rock n' Soul with a Kentucky style Howdy for your Get Up and Go !!
With her powerhouse serenade, Singing Songwriter Sasha Colette has traveled the East Coast far and wide sharing her uniquely famous blend of Kentucky born Rock n' Soul. Her passion, typically found only behind a backwoods pulpit has led her to share stages with the likes of Ricky Skaggs, Sundy Best, Chris Knight, Tom T. Hall, Old Crow Medicine Show, Todd Snider and most anyone else you could name. Packing her banjo and trusty six string, Sasha Colette is nearly a household name throughout the Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia region for her entertaining charm and vocal styling. A true Kentucky original, Sasha Colette is sure to satisfy.
“Magnolias are one of our first signs that spring is near,” Colette says, on the origin of the band’s name. “They are risky, they don’t mind showing up before it’s fully safe to bloom, because they’re ready.”
Balancing her life as a nurse, mother and musician, Colette brings a refreshing authenticity to her music, blending heartfelt lyrics with energetic performances. Her band of Magnolias is made up of
• Steve Barker (Seth, West Virginia) – Drums
• Mike Parker (Middleport) – Vocals, lead guitar
• Doug Woodard (Ona) – Vocals, bass
• Maclean James (Ironton) – Keys, lead guitar
Sasha Colette & The Magnolias made a recent appearance on Red Barn Radio. Check out some of the videos at
