Sunny Side Up

We’ve had a bit of time to think about some of the recent events in our gluten free, dietary needs community, and we’d like to say a few things as a reminder to our ride or die clients and friends, and all the new faces we’ve been seeing around here! 🌈

Here at Sunny Side Up we do everything with you in mind. We recipe test until we feel comfortable enough to offer desserts that we feel taste the best, have a “normal” mouth feel, desserts that will get you excited to eat gluten free. This is the core of what we do and why we started our business as a person with Celiac Disease and as a family that follows a gluten free diet.

Our kitchen is gluten free, our equipment is gluten free, our desserts are gluten free, and they always will be. We are licensed home processors in the state of New York, but we are not certified gluten free - and as we choose to use some ingredients, like gluten free Oreos, we cannot claim to be certified gluten free.

As a community, all of us gluten free folk (ourselves included) so heavily rely on small businesses to support our lifestyles, and the trust we put in them is so important. We encourage you to ask questions and to remember that your health and dietary needs are not a joke. We hear you and are here to support you through whatever journey you might be on! 🤍
