Approx 4 years ago a Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient named Zach placed a Flag at PCH and Goldenwest in Huntington Beach for Memorial Day. Ever since he has maintained the Flag, replacing it every couple of months and when vandalism occurs. Zach approached Johnny K at Johnny's Saloon with the story and asked for help spreading the word.
