people may not know why a space feels right, but they feel it.

It’s March. Listing season is coming.

They came in wanting white quartz.

They left with leathered black granite.

Happens more than you’d think.

Photos are helpful. Samples are helpful.

But sometimes the decision happens the second you run your hand across the right surface.

That’s why we always say: come touch the stone before you decide.

She stood in front of the same quartzite slab for 20 minutes.

“It’s too beautiful,” she said. “I’m afraid to cook on it.”

We laughed — and then told her that’s exactly what it’s made for.

Six months later, she sent a photo: holiday dinner spread across the

whole surface, trays everywhere, family in the background.

That’s the goal. Not a museum piece. A kitchen that gets lived in.
