As Jesus sends out the Twelve, He instructs them to travel lightly, relying on God's providence and the generosity of those they serve. Their mission is so important that those who receive the Gospel are called to support those who proclaim it. The laborers of the Kingdom deserve their keep because they have devoted themselves to the work of bringing Christ to others.
How is God inviting me to support those who dedicate their lives to serving His Church and proclaiming the Gospel?

In Hosea, the desert is not a place of abandonment but of encounter, a place where distractions fade and the Lord lovingly calls His people back to himself. Even in seasons of dryness or uncertainty, God is speaking to the heart that is willing to listen.
Where might God be inviting me to step away from the noise and listen more closely to what He wants to say to my heart?

“My Jesus, I believe You are really here in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You more than anything in the world, and I hunger to receive You. But since I cannot receive Communion at this moment, feed my soul at least spiritually. I unite myself to You now as I do when I actually receive You. Amen.”
