The Hudson Community Service Association (HCSA) lighting initiative began in 1948 when Mary Lou Morse, her husband and friends took a string of lights and lit the Green. What is now the tallest tree on the Clocktower Green was then decorated using just a step ladder! Today, labor and utilities are provided by the City of Hudson. All the money for lights, greens and bows comes from donations to the Hudson Community Service Association’s Lighting Fund. Thanks to all who help make the winter lights shine.
