A Real Peach Studio

Soooo grateful to my hubs who without hesitation backed my impulsive decision and held things down at home while I made my way to Hudson NY ✈️🚕🚂 for a bucket list moment ✅ I had the immense pleasure of taking a half day workshop at beautiful studio. She is even more lovely in person if that’s possible and an incredibly encouraging coach helping us find our flow. I spent the time surrounded by gorgeous blooms, art and art minded ladies learning to let go, loosen up, and paint juicy intuitive florals. Needless to say I’m so looking forward to testing out my new skills back home with a full heart. 🥰

Inspiration comes in spurts these days. I’m sure many can relate. Juggling work, parenting and self care feels like a losing battle sometimes, but at the moment painting loose watercolor florals is without a doubt the art therapy and meditation that helps me keep going. Using radiant concentrated watercolors for the first time. 🙀🤩 Pro: the color saturation and bleeds are amazing! Con: not archival and will notice fading within 12-24 months, so not great for original paintings but excellent for .
