Valley View Vineyards

Our Conquistador Grapes are available for picking. They are a cross between the Northern Concord grape and a Lake Belle grape cultivated by UF to be hearty to grow in Florida. They are a bunch grape with seeds (not a muscadine grape). They make good jams, jellies, and wines, or just to eat - if you don't mind the seeds.

We will be open this Sunday (July 12th) and next Sunday (July 19th) from 8:30 am to 10:30 am for picking of grapes. The grapes are $1.50 per pound, cash or Venmo only.

The grapes grow on the side of a sandy hill, so please wear appropriate footwear. We have buckets, but you are welcome to bring your own clippers as you will have to cut the bunches off the vine. The vineyard is in the sun, so bring a hat for shade.

Figs are ripe for picking at Valley View Vineyards! Due to how the figs ripen, there will be a limited quantity available at each picking, so we will only be open for 1 hour for each picking date. We will be open Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. (weather permitting). If those hours do not work and you would like to schedule an appointment time please call the farm at 352-243-4032 and leave a message. (Please do not respond to this email as this site is rarely monitored. Call the farm phone instead and leave a message.) We will do our best to accommodate you based on the availability of our figs.

Figs are $4 per pound and are all u-pick, cash or Venmo only.

While you are enjoying the upcoming Holiday weekend, don't forget, the follow weekend we are having a huge yard and collectables sale at Valley View Vineyards. If you would like to participate and de-clutter your home - box your stuff up, bring a table and chairs, (and a pop up if you have one) and set your items up for sale! Just let me know if you plan of joining as a vendor so I save you space. No fee to set up your own table. Sale will be May 29th thru 31st. You can come for one or all days.

Thanks to all who came out to pick peaches this year. While we had hoped to be open through this weekend, Mother Nature had other plans and we are officially sold out of peaches for 2026. We hope to see you all for peaches next year or some other fruit this season.

We still have A LOT of ripe peaches and nearly ripe peaches available for U-Pick. We are extending our hours to by appointment for the rest of the day (Sunday May 3rd), Monday May 4th after 3:30 and Tuesday thru Friday (May 5th thru May 8th) after 5:30. We continue to have the Florida Prince - a yellow flesh cling peach - available for U-pick at $3.50 per pound. You might be able to find some of the Florida Glow - the white flesh free stone - available, but it's still a bit early for them.
