I was asked to speak to some students/be a guest lecturer about entrepreneurship today. It’s my belief that the quickest way to success is through the God given abilities one is blessed with.

I shared with them the importance of establishing what I believe are the fundamental principles of entrepreneurship through what I call the 3 D’s.

1. “D-iscover” the natural God-given abilities/gifts that each of them was born with.

2. “D-evelop” those gifts/back them up with certifications/degrees to add more value/legitimacy to their specific skill set/craft. Major success is possible with out degrees/certifications. However, there are some professions that will require additional education to reach the level of success desired.

3. “D-eliver” those gifts for a PROFIT.

Of course, I went into more detail but this just a small synopsis of the lecture.

The love, expression of thanks, and appreciation I received today literally gave me life. I’m just a kid from the hood who had dreams of becoming something in life, but to be asked for my autograph was as surreal as it gets. I’ve experienced some unexpected challenges/my confidence took a major hit but I was reminded today that I still have value and there is an audience specifically designed just for me.

I closed out the lecture with total transparency. I shared with them that I was a little nervous/ about speaking with them because of what many of us have experienced and what they will soon experience. It’s called LIFE. It can sneak up on you or it can be right in front of your face/yet ignored.

I told them if they didn’t digest/remember anything I shared with them to please always remember that it’s ok to process life/set backs/disappointments/pain/struggle/shame/embarrassment/fear.

The key is to NEVER STOP MOVING FORWARD. Do it scared/nervous/hurt/embarrassed/while struggling.

I was there to motivate them but ended up motivating myself.

This is for ALL of us. NEVER GIVE UP!

Yo, on a rooftop somewhere in the Boogie Down Bronx! OMG, Soooooo freaking Gnarly!! Photography isn't a hustle for me, it's my passion, and I believe it shows through the quality of Gnarly Art I produce.

Many think accomplishing results as such is as simple as clicking the shutter button on a camera and that's it. I wish it were that easy! What isn't seen is the additional 40-60 hours spent editing to produce the final images presented/posted. ,

In spite of the horrible state of our world (Pandemic), 2021 was the BEST year Photography by Starlic has ever experienced! I had so much work that I actually turned down some opportunities. God is GREAT!

I sincerely want to say THANK YOU to everyone who chose to work with me. 2022 is already off to a great start! BIG things are in store and I thank everyone in advance for your support!
