PDM16 is the senior class of the University of Houston's Photography and Digital Media fine art program. Each year the current graduating class puts together a senior thesis exhibition of their work.The class of 2016 consists of 17 artists working in mediums that range from film/digital photography--video--& sculpture. Happy November!! We are all super excited for what's ahead for us in the month of November, but let's recap lovely October first!
At the beginning of the month, one of our artists, Sidney Mori (sidneymori.com) showed her video piece "Errands" in London, UK for ART LICKS Weekend with North and Found. Wow, Wow, Wow.
Then, PDM16 went through midterms critique. We are really excited about our thesis exhibition for 2016! There is a lot of exceptional artwork in the making, so make sure to check us out on April 9th, at Rudolph Blume Gallery. :)
We closed off the month with artist Angel Lartigue (angeluchx.tumblr.com) speaking about his work with Aletheia at the Nook Cafe. It was a lovely turn out and Angel received a great response! Amazing!
