📸 Throwback to Summer 2005! Spent 12 days as a Secret Service extra on the set of Idiocracy – the “Brawndo’s Got Electrolytes!” scenes. Yes, that Brawndo. 🥤

Wildest part? My very first encounter with Crocs was on that set. Mike Judge (legend!) found them ugly, utilitarian, and weirdly futuristic. So naturally, half the extras were rocking them. Two decades later, can you walk through Walmart or almost anywhere without seeing them? 😂

Watching the movie now, it’s hard not to chuckle and then immediately get a little nervous. Some of those “futuristic” elements from 2005? Let’s just say the lines between satire and current events seem a little blurrier these days. From the endless branding to the general vibe of things, it feels a bit too real. What do you think?
