If it feels ok, let yourself take a moment to think about the most recent loss you experienced.

A pet. A job. A parent. A pregnancy. A move to a new house. (Whatever comes to mind first.)

What feeling comes up?

Sadness might be the first feeling...
..But I bet there's a lot more there.

Is there anger because of the loss? Did someone lie, manipulate, or make a mistake that is irreversible? Are you upset with yourself that you did or didn't do something different? Do you feel regret? Remorse? Fear? Pressure?

These experiences are complex - because there are multiple wounds, parts and needs at play.

When I lost my dear pet Atticus last year, I felt sadness. But I also felt anger that my enjoyment with Atticus was robbed. I felt frustrated that I had so few months of peace with him at the end. I felt angry because I wasn't ready for him to go.

In some situations, you can have a conversation and move on.

But other times, it's more complicated than that.

So if the past is still weighing you down, and no one outside of you can fix it or change it, what do you do?

You take back your power and peace.

Easier said than done, which is why I'm hosting The Art of Letting Go experience.

The more energy we spend holding onto old pain, the less we have available for creativity, connection, joy, peace, and aligned growth.

This is the work of 𓂃The Art of Letting Go 𓂃
