HOUSTON, Texas (Oct. 31, 2019) – Archaeology Now, the Archaeological Institute of America – Houston Society, in collaboration with the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum will help individuals trace the story of their ancestries through an interactive workshop about the power of DNA and genealogy on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019 at the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum, 3816 Caroline Street from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This workshop will show participants the specific steps that can be taken to find one’s ancestors through searching archival databases such as marriage and death certificates. Participants will learn what a powerful tool DNA testing is and how it complements archival information in compiling one’s story. Following the talk, there will be break-out sessions where participants can work with DNA experts in a small group setting to discuss their specific research questions. DNA testing kits will be for sale at a discount the evening of the workshop.

Here is some solid business advice from my brother, Sam, for our family that is good for everyone:

Never lend someone money you are not willing to lose.

By the time you lend someone money, be contented in your heart that should the person fail to pay, you will not die. You should not even lose that person's friendship if they fail to repay the money you lent them.

If you feel the person might fail to pay you and this will not affect your relationship with them, then lend them money.

If their failure to pay would make you hate this person’s entire clan, please advise the person to go to the bank!

If the baby boomers stop investing their $30 trillion dollars, they will stop paying a lot in taxes. They will continue to collect money from the government instead of paying into the economy, and will stop paying taxes. The economy will stagnate more in the next few years than ever, bringing on a serious economic collapse!

Are you ready for the dollar to drop 70%? For the foreign investors to demand to be paid in their currency? When unemployment will triple? When mortgage payments increase because the interest rate will rise quickly? When there is less money and more expenses for the rest of us, will we face another stock market crash? If so, where will that leave you?
