Thank you Laurel Goodroe, owner and cookie baker extraordinaire at Laurel Bakes, for today's super fun cookie decorating class benefiting the Snowdrop Foundation.

We made an actual Snowdrop flower cookie, a gold ribbon and, of course, a running shoe to tie in with the Snowdrop ULTRA 55 Hour Race & Relay.

We appreciate the support, creativity and carbs. 😉

Honor Team director Misty Mills recently sat down with The Running Portal podcast and Monica C. Rose to talk about our 55-hour race and how we are helping find cures for pediatric cancers.

If you've been curious about what the Honor Team does, this episode will give you details and tell you how to join!

We can't wait till September when Delivering Hope will be available to stream. If you have wondered about the Snowdrop Honor Team, this film will give you a glimpse into the dedication these runners have for their Honor Kids battling cancer. You don't have to run in an arctic tundra to join, though. The only requirement is that you care about the cause and have a willingness to connect with a pediatric cancer patient.

Mark your calendars for September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! Our documentary, Delivering Hope, will be available on streaming platforms.

Today we celebrate and honor the life of Chelsey Campbell. Chelsey would turn 35 today. Chelsey Coy Campbell is the inspiration behind Snowdrop Foundation. In 2005, then 15 year-old Chelsey, was diagnosed with Stage IV undifferentiated sarcoma, a very rare cancer of the soft tissues. Her journey inspired many but none more than Trish and Kevin Kline. Snowdrop Foundation was gifted to Chelsey for her 16th birthday.

Happy Birthday Chelsey, we miss you. 💜

If you absolutely HATE running but are REALLY into breakfast and fighting pediatric cancer, the Snowdrop Foundation is on the search for volunteers to serve meals at the BEST ultra marathon in Houston!

ULTRA 55 Race & Relay Volunteers NEEDED!

We are looking for a Volunteer morning breakfast Lead Person(s) for the Snowdrop ULTRA 55!

Rise and shine, breakfast enthusiasts! We’re looking for a Volunteer Morning Breakfast Lead to help kickstart the day for our Snowdrop ULTRA 55 runners. As the Breakfast Lead, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly, guide volunteers to their stations (like the Food Aid and Drink Stations), and make sure everyone knows their tasks—whether it’s filling up Tailwind, keeping snacks stocked, making those mouthwatering P&J sandwiches, or even some trash pick-up and course maintenance.

🍴 When lunch arrives (we’ve got that covered!), you’ll help gather volunteers to serve and clean up after.

Your Shift Details:
December 30th: 6 AM - 10 AM
December 31st: 6 AM - 2 PM
January 1st: 6 AM - 12 PM

Breakfast typically includes eggs, bacon, pancakes, and hash browns to fuel our runners for the day ahead!

If you’re ready to lead the charge and keep breakfast running smoothly, let us know! Let’s make sure the morning starts off strong! 🍳🥞

Lisa Decker is doing final preparation for next week's solo Texas Independence Relay run, and she has a few legs left unclaimed to honor a pediatric cancer survivor. If you know a child currently being treated or who has completed treatment, and you'd be willing to allow Lisa to run in their honor, please let us know.
