I've always hated running. Being a strength coach gave me a convenient excuse to avoid it. MovNat teaches the necessity of being a well rounded athlete though so I made it happen. Turns out I didn't hate running, I just had awful technique and made it a miserable experience. Something I've learned training myself and coaching others is that if it sucks, you're probably doing it wrong.

Once upon a time, people had to move in nature to feed themselves, their family and community. They had to perform the practical and adaptable natural movements our biology is evolutionarily designed to do and is highly capable of doing. 🧬

This daily Natural Movement behavior, originally and ideally done in nature, is also what our biology and neurophysiology needs to thrive. It’s the simplest yet most complete and powerful form of exercise. 💪🏽

I’ve coined the term “Natural Movement” 14 years ago to make it become a concept that modern people and the mainstream could understand, and devised a training method called MovNat so that people could learn and teach the most effective ways to practice Natural Movement. 🐾

Natural Movement was, still is, and always will be a biological, real-world reality and necessity for any human being wanting to stay or become healthy and physically capable. Whereas all modern fitness and exercise protocols are in essence both specialized and optional, Natural Movement will never be removed from human nature and its fundamental function and potential. ~ Erwan Le Corre 🍃
