In light of recent events, including the tragic attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego, AMO and Maryam Islamic Center are hosting a free C.R.A.S.E. training session for our community.
C.R.A.S.E. stands for Civilian Response to Active Shooter Event. This training is designed to help everyday people understand what to do in an active threat situation, how to stay calm, and how to respond with clarity when every second matters.
The session will cover active threat response, situational awareness, civilian survival strategies, and the AVOID, DENY, DEFEND framework.
This training will be led by certified instructor Officer Nhan Phan.
