Tip of the day:
During the repair process it is crucial for the shop and the technician to follow the guidelines of the manufacturer. Yesterday we had a 2025 ford explorer that the customer wanted to install lowering springs to reduce the vehicle ride hight. As you know few suspension parts needed to be removed to access the springs to remove and replace them. Ford engineers say the aluminum suspension bolts are one time use . They needed to be discarded and replaced with new one. Imagine if the shop doesn’t have the resources for that info and the tech reused a one time use bolt. Customer will suffer and will have a high repair cost .

Tip of the day ….
All time all wheel drive terrain vehicle owners . You have to ( have to underlined a million times ) replace your 4 tires at the same time keeping the same tread design and pattern. Basically you replace them with the same exact tire brand and model and age . If you don’t . Be prepared for a high repair ticket for your rear differential and or transmission.
Worst is if you have an extended warranty coverage and you think they will cover the cost of replacing your transmission or differential assembly . Once that inspector comes to inspect and mark that you have a different tire design than the rest or even tread depth. The claim will be declined.
Moral of this tip is that you really need to understand your car and the way the maintenance is engineered for it to prevent unnecessary damage and high repair costs.
