When Jesus instructed the man (in John 5) to Rise, nothing could hold him down! After 38yrs. of immobility, one word out of the mouth of Jesus, countermanded the restraints of his environment, and his infirmity. The word rise, is a transitive verb that essentially means to gather your faculties. However, the extended meaning is to improve. What are you planning to do this week, to improve yourself? Make a list of all your insecurities, set-backs, and shortcomings; start aggressively addressing those areas - and be improved! God says, RISE! ? 'tstopmyrise
