Library 4918 was built on commission by the fabulous design team, FMWfablab located in Houston's near East End. Following LFL guidelines, it is made from reclaimed wood from a 1910 farmhouse. The library is a french quarter cottage with iconic iron work, shutters, and of course fleur de lis pedestal.
The good news is, the LFL is on the workbench of FMWFabLab getting retrofitted and repaired. I'll post when it is reinstalled. Thanks to everyone for the donations of books and the encouraging words.
I am adding some more children's books to the stacks and sprucing up the joint. Stop by and borrow a book and if you see me out and about, stay for tea :)
