We’re running InstaGel at a 1:1 ratio with distilled water, creating the ideal balance of slip and control. Paired with UltraFit PPF, it’s delivering some of the cleanest one-piece truck bed installs we’ve done.

InstaGel keeps the film floating without premature tack, eliminating the need to constantly lift and reapply slip to keep the adhesive hydrated. That alone changes the entire workflow.

Combined with UltraFit, we’re able to push the film to its limits while maintaining a crystal-clear, thick, high-gloss finish

Applying PPF over vinyl will always leave a slight air gap. The goal is minimizing it.

By spraying InstaGel over the vinyl, you create a controlled “hugging” effect that pulls the film down tighter and reduces that gap significantly.

Traditional slip solutions allow the film to float, which can keep it from fully conforming to the edges of the vinyl. InstaGel changes that behavior, giving you more control and a cleaner final result

There’s so much hate towards this tool but it serves so many purposes! Here is just 1 technique using the brush, we are using the brush to form the film to the contours of the rear bumper. From here will will maneuver& shift the film for final placement
