What are your thoughts?

In 2018 I was awarded leader of the cycle out of hundreds of soldiers.

At the time, I could tell you I was not the strongest, the fastest, or the smartest.

Yeah, if there was one thing that I had the capacity to do, it was to work hard and not ask for a handout.

A lesson that I learned earlier in life, is that when you are willing to put in the work, people are watching, you just don’t know when the reward will pay out.

Yet, did not quit or fold under pressure. 📈🧱

The military teaches you lessons that allow you to grow and build the life you want.

A few lessons that come to mind are:

1.) The ability to overcome hardship and self doubt.
2.) You get to assess just how bad you want the life you say you want.
3.) The strengthening of your mind, body, and soul.

The one thing the military needs to teach more about is Financial Literacy. Understanding money is foundational to building your life and future.
