They are trained to diagnose and treat eye disorders and vision conditions like nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, presbyopia, cataracts, keratoconus, glaucoma, and more. They may also test a person’s ability to focus and coordinate the eyes and see depth and colors accurately. Our optometrists are licensed by the state of Texas to examine the eyes to determine the presence of vision problems and visual acuity. They also prescribe low vision aids, vision therapy and may provide pre-and post-op care for laser surgery. Our optical shops offer a wide range of designer eyewear, premier sunglasses, soft contact lenses, colored contact lenses, and specialty contact lenses that include RGPs, Hybrids, and Scleral contacts.
