Let’s talk about some ocean news from COP27 as we go into COP15 (the biodiversity summit) this week 🌊 -

➡️As part of the Ocean Conservation Pledge, 16 Countries (Australia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Fiji, France, Greece, Japan, Kenya, Malta, Panama, Portugal, Romania, Seychelles, and Sri Lanka) committed to protecting 30% of ocean water by 2030

➡️The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration expanded its Blue Carbon Inventory Project, which helps provide technical assistance to include coastal wetlands in national greenhouse gas inventories. Ocean Science. Biodiversity Action.
