This is so so sad . I am praying for strength & grace that Pratt-Lewis Foundation can do more:
A team member from Sierra Leone sent this video to us (our foundation owns no right to this video ). I thought to share in order to give the outside world an insight of what is happening there. We are strongly looking forward to expanding our works to the people of Sierra Leone.
Below is the communication received today ( 02/18/20 ) from Hassan Newland. Son of Sierra Leone.

Hello Sir,
I write to call on your intention of the deadly drug abuse in my home country Sierra Leone, predominantly in slum communities.
The hard economic situation is also part of the factors that precipitate the acute rise it drug use.
Over few weeks from now. The use of baby disposable diapers which commonly known as PAMPAS. There are some chemical substance in the
Pampas that help keep it safe for baby use. That chemical substance is the current drug abuse substance.
My personal engagement with few of them in Waterloo community, It was frustrating to learn they can sometimes sleep for two or more days after taken the diaper as drugs.
I also learnt that. They will remove a portion of the chemical from the diaper and boil it for few minute. Then add sugar and milk to it.
Please find attached, a short documentary on the current menace to our society.
I will be updating the foundation on events from time to time .
