HomeWood at Zion Apartment Homes held their ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Community leaders and officials gathered to welcome the community to the new affordable housing facility. Located at 2502 Webster Street, the complex has a stunning view of the downtown skyline. HomeWood at Zion offers modern two, three and four bedroom floorplans for low- to moderate-income households. Residents can take advantage of the property’s state-of-the-art fitness center, community center and activity center. HomeWood at Zion also features a basketball court, clubhouse with children’s learning/business center and two children’s playgrounds. The City of Houston’s Housing and Community Development provided $1.3 million in HOME funds for the $11.9 million project.
