In 2019, Hawkeye had the privilege to work with Rice University. We were tasked with the refinement of the Rice University Brand System, while also addressing inconsistent usage of brand elements across the organization. While keeping the most memorable aspects of the iconic Rice University Owl, Hawkeye was able to recreate a classic aesthetic with a modern take. While keeping the values of the university in mind, we were able to create a fresh, clean result that could be used throughout all departments.
