Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸🎆

This Fourth of July is an especially meaningful one as we celebrate 250 years of our nation's history. It also marks the halfway point of summer—which means we're one step closer to welcoming our Eagles back to campus!

Enjoy the fireworks, the family time, and the long weekend. We'll see you in the classroom before you know it!

Today, we celebrated a special milestone for the Class of 2027 at our Junior Ring Ceremony as they officially begin their journey toward becoming St. Thomas seniors.

During Mass, we also celebrated members of our community who completed their OCIA journey and recognized this year’s scholarship recipients for their hard work and dedication.

As Fr. Murphy reminded us today, “a circle has no end.”

The St. Thomas High School Chess Club brought home the Cardinal DiNardo Cup at the Houston/Galveston Catholic Schools Tournament in Kingwood — defeating Strake Jesuit for the first time in nearly a decade!

Freshman Thomas Snapka and junior Luke Garcia both placed in the top three of the high school division, taking down opponents ranked far above them along the way.

Shoutout to Elliott Blessington, Isaac Guerrero, Craig O'Sullivan, Rocco Ybarra, Vinnie Equale, Dawson Wu, and Fred Shami for helping lead the team to victory through strategy, teamwork, and determination.

When Mr. Cuneo heard the news, his response said it all:
“HOLY CANNOLI!!! It’s a long, long time coming! Praise God!”
