I’ve been getting so many inquiries lately about engagement sessions at Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, so I thought I’d share a quick guide! 🌿

There are 2 ways to have your session there:

✨ Option 1: Private Session
Reserve the gardens exclusively for your session. During the summer, these time slots usually fall around golden hour, so you’ll get beautiful, soft lighting and complete privacy. Permit fees are typically around $400 for one guest or $750 for two guests.

☀️ Option 2: During Regular Business Hours
Visit during their regular business hours with standard admission tickets. They’re closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and Sundays have shorter hours.

While the lighting is usually a bit harsher around midday and you’ll be sharing the gardens with other visitors, don’t let that scare you! We can still create gorgeous photos by embracing the sunlight or finding beautiful shaded areas throughout the gardens.

Neither option is better—it simply depends on what matters most to you:
