announcing Chef's Table new River Oak location
🍷 The Chef’s Table has debuted a new location in River Oaks by chef Paul Friedman at 2055 Westheimer.
The dining room is designed with ebony-paneled walls, plush banquettes and a quieter atmosphere for dinner service. A central bar, window-lined secondary dining space and landscaped patio are also included within the nearly 8,000-square-foot restaurant. 🍽️
The menu reflects South African, Portuguese, Indian and Mediterranean influences shaped through generations of cultural traditions. Starters include Vleis Pastie with mango chutney, Peri Peri Calamari, and South African Peppadew Hummus.
Main dishes include Ostrich Filet, South African Kingklip, Portuguese Beef Pendurada, Durban Chicken curry and Backyard Braii mixed grill. 🥩
The Chef’s Table River Oaks is open Sundays from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday hours run from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday service continues until 11 p.m.
