What does Paul mean when he speaks about previously being dead in our trespasses and sins?

And having received the grace of God, is the rest simply up to us?

Are you afraid about tomorrow?

I'll be honest, I've been a little nervous.

People on both sides of the political aisle are walking
in a lot of fear.

People afraid of whether the election will actually happen or not.
People afraid of what might happen after the election if there is one.

The truth is, the election, and not even tomorrow are guaranteed.

The Lord reminded me this weekend, that practically speaking,
only 1 day is certain.

And no man on Earth knows when it is,
but it is more certain than your next breath.

So let Paul's prayer remind us of how to pray,
And if we name the name of Christ, what to pray for 1 another.

PS, I'm not saying to ignore the things that are going on.
But we cannot let fear of a POSSIBLE tomorrow control us,
Or choke out how we ought to live in light of the day that is coming for certain.
