While doing planks, make sure your glutes are tight and engaged throughout the entire movement. Also, if you’re moving an object back and forth, widen your stance to make sure your hips don’t sway back and forth, limiting the core activation of the movement.
Here is a fun explosive exercise to try for your next partner workout. Grab a short soft box and a medicine ball, throw the ball to your partner and do a push up. Do 3-4 sets of 12-15 reps each. Featuring the dynamic duo and —-I promise I have more clients I just don’t film them LOL
