John Romita Jr. is the son of fabled comic artist John Romita, Sr. Romita Jr.’s popularity came from his run on Iron Man with David Michelinie; his run of Amazing Spider-Man, and the Uncanny X-Men with Chris Claremont. He also had a great run on Daredevil with Ann Nocenti and Al Williamson. He later worked with Frank Miller on a Daredevil: Man Without Fear.
In the 2000s, Romita had his 2nd run on The Amazing Spider-Man with J.M. Straczynski. He drew Wolverine with Mark Millar for the the 30th-anniversary. In 2014, Romita Jr. drew DC Comics flagship title Superman, with Geoff Johns and Klaus Janson. In 2016, Romita Jr. and writer Scott Snyder collaborated on the All-Star Batman for DC’s Rebirth relaunch.
In 2020, Romita drew Kelly Sue DeConnick's story "Fore" for Detective Comics' 1027th issue.
