It's Fall y'all! September 22nd is the official day of the changing seasons. Temperatures are still on summer schedule in the Lone Star State, which means even more reasons to celebrate with a bit of spice! Not pumpkin spice exactly, but these BBQ Spicy Apricot Chicken Wings are just the way to welcome in the soon-to-be cooler days and nights.
BBQ Spicy Apricot Chicken Wings

2 cups apricot jam
4 garlic cloves, minced

chicken wings

Labor Day can be bitter-sweet. For many Americans, it symbolizes the end of summer and is celebrated with parades, sporting events, community festivals, and let’s not forget the old-fashioned cookout.
Whether you opt for a private BBQ at your site or our outdoor BBQ station, try these Grilled Fruit Kabobs after having your fill of burgers and steaks.
Grilled Fruit Kabobs Recipe
1. Preheat your grill to medium heat and place a sheet of foil on the grate.
2. Melt ½ cup of margarine and ¼ cup honey in a saucepan over medium heat. Gradually lower the temperature, stirring the mixture until it slightly thickens.
3. Slide cut up fruit like peaches, plums, bananas, and strawberries onto skewers and sit each on the foil placed on the preheated grill.
4. Drizzle margarine-honey mixture over skewers.
5. Flip the skewers once the fruit has softened and the sauce thickens. Repeat the drizzle and grilling process on the other side.
6. Remove skewers from heat and serve with vanilla ice cream. Yum!
