I keep seeing posts saying 2026 is the new 2016 and wow… I can’t believe it’s already been 10 years. What a journey this has been. 🥹

I started posting on Instagram back in 2011, during the early days of beauty content creation. Back then, engagement felt real—you could actually reach people. In 2016, I had around 5,000 followers, and getting 200–500 likes felt incredible. I’d have over 300,000 (almost 400k!) likes for the year! 😳 Those numbers meant connection, community, and growth. Oh how times change, but the heart behind the content remains the same.

I truly miss that era of Instagram beauty trends—the bold colors, the bold brows, the creativity without pressure. It was fun, expressive, and exciting. Those looks will always have my heart.
