BCM Medical Scientist Training Program (M.D./Ph.D. Program)
The BCM Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) began in 1977. It is one of 45 institutions receiving a competitive training grant from the National Institute of Health to train physician scientists. Symposium 2025 at Camp Allen
Save the Date for 2026 Symposium September 11-13!!
We heard amazing science and had a lot of fun at our annual Symposium. This year’s theme was Into the Jungle, including Tree-mendous Trivia on Friday, The Incredible Quest to Madagascar: Zoo-preme adventure, and Into the Jungle Extravaganza! with costumes for Saturday social.
Our Keynote speaker was Eugene Koay. Our Director speaker was Associate MSTP Director James Orengo.
There were 13 student speakers at this Symposium! They all did an outstanding job.
