Health Coverage?
From now until November 1, for someone to be eligible for a marketplace ACA plan, you must have a Qualifying Life Event (QLE). Otherwise, in most states, you must wait until 2022 Federal Open Enrollment Period begins in November before being eligible to apply for coverage without a QLE.
Even then, applying for coverage during 2022 Open Enrollment doesn’t allow for coverage to start until the soonest Jan. 1, 2022. What do you do between now and then?
