Families will have the opportunity to ask questions, review concerns related to special education services, and receive guidance on navigating the ARD/IEP process.

Transition Law: Students May Receive Special Education Services Until Age 22
Under IDEA, students who have not graduated with a regular high school diploma may continue receiving special education and transition services through the school year in which they turn 22 (state rules may vary). These services can focus on employment, independent living, community participation, and adult life skills. The goal is to help students gain the skills they need to be as independent as possible after leaving school.
