CCID and LewerMark Student Insurance are proud to launch the Global Impact Scholarship, celebrating the vision, creativity, and leadership of international students at CCID member colleges!

Students will share their stories through essays, videos, artwork, or music and have the chance to win up to $4,000 in scholarships! 🎓

🌟 Exciting Announcement for CCID’s 50th Annual Conference!

We are honored to welcome two extraordinary leaders and advocates as special guests at CCID’s 50th Annual Conference in Tucson, Arizona!

✨Dr. Octaviana Valenzuela Trujillo
Founding Chair and Professor Emerita of the Department of Applied Indigenous Studies at Northern Arizona University, and former Chairwoman of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Dr. Trujillo brings a lifetime of leadership in advancing Indigenous knowledge, international collaboration, and climate research. She currently serves as President of The Americas Research Network and as a member of the Joint Public Advisory Committee for the North America Commission on Environmental Cooperation. A nationally recognized scholar and advocate, she was inducted into the Arizona Women’s Hall of Fame (2023) and recently presented at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences on Indigenous knowledge and climate change.

✨Mr. Miguel Flores Jr.
With over 35 years of service in health care for Arizona and Native American communities, Miguel Flores is a respected leader, healer, teacher, and advocate. A proud member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Tohono O’odham Nation, his work spans traditional healing, public health leadership, and service on key advisory committees for the NIH, CDC, and Indian Health Services. As both a community leader and spiritual healer, Miguel Flores has dedicated his life to advancing Native health and strengthening Indigenous voices in health and wellness.

🎉 Their presence at CCID’s 50th will enrich our celebration and inspire dialogue on global education, health, Indigenous knowledge, and cross-cultural collaboration.
