What nobody tells you about quitting your corporate job is that…
…you don’t have to leave everything behind.
When I made the leap from my 9-to-5 to full-time coaching, I was filled with all the usual doubts.
“What if I can’t make this work?“
“What if I’m not ready?“
“What if I’m leaving behind too much security?”
And yes, you’re walking away from a regular paycheck…
…but you’re leaving with years of experience, skills, and lessons.
And girl, they’re all ready to be unleashed in a new way.
It was pure magic when I realized that the skills I’ve honed in the corporate world weren’t just for my cubicle—they were the exact skills I used to pay the bills, which led me to create my “Skills to Pay the Bills” program.
Noticed that I solved my own problem first before solving others?
These skills weren’t just theory. I lived them, applied them, and then created a program that helped others do the same.
So, what if nailing your niche should be done this way all throughout?
Maybe your niche isn’t about targeting the right audience … it’s about focusing on *YOU.*
Think about it … What if your niche is simply an extension of your own journey, your own transformation?
PS. If you haven’t noticed … I sneakily opened Nail Your Niche Challenge 🫣

Your niche isn’t just about what you love or what you’re good at.
It’s about what people will pay for.
I totally get the situation of getting stuck trying to build a business around what we think our niche should be.
But I didn’t start building my empire until I realized that real money is in the visible, valuable victory we already have.
There are those who are passionate about it being in one space but after some introspection, you realize that what people need them for is a totally different space.
So they pivot.
And that’s the moment they nail their niche.
This is why your niche has to be market-driven.
Yes we start with what we know… with what we love…
But we need to think about what people are willing to invest in.
So if you’re struggling to find your niche, ask yourself …
📌 Where have I created real results in my own life?
📌 What visible transformation can I offer someone else?
📌 Is this something people are actively paying for?
Your most profitable niche is the one that solves a high-value problem for the right audience.
What’s a problem that you think you can solve for others?

A lot of new (and even aspiring) coaches jump into the online space fueled by passion.
They’re excited.
They want to help people.
They love what they do.
And that’s all great but…
…here’s where they get stuck!
They focus so much on what excites them that they forget one critical question.
👉🏾 What’s the return on investment for the client?
Just keeping it real.
Yes, passion is important.
But passion alone won’t get you paid.
Clients don’t invest because you love what you do.
They invest because they see a clear, valuable result they can’t achieve on their own.
Your vision has to align with what the market values.
So at the very beginning, ask …
What tangible transformation am I offering?
How does my coaching solve a problem my clients are actively looking to fix?
Can I clearly communicate the results they’ll get from working with me?
If you don’t answer these, you’ll struggle to attract clients no matter how passionate you are.
For me, there’s passion that’s part of getting to seven figures.
But I did not just build my business around what I love. Build a business around what people will pay for.
This is how your niche is your value.
