Long after incarceration ends, justice-impacted families continue to face barriers to employment, housing, and economic stability. Research shows that people who have experienced imprisonment may earn as little as 48 cents for every dollar earned by those without criminal-legal system involvement.

That’s why we’re raising $15,000 to support the Caste Out Resource Fair on July 25, 2026.

We’re incredibly proud of the work our team put in to help turn voters out for the primary runoff elections. Last week, our amazing Organizing Manager Joy Davis was unexpectedly invited from the audience to speak on Trending Tuesdays about politics, elections, and the importance of voter engagement — a true reflection of the passion and leadership she brings to this work every day.

Housing discrimination is one way caste shows up in our communities and formerly incarcerated people are 10x more likely to experience homelessness. It’s time for change. ✊🏾💪🏾
