I discovered Grotto thanks to a Groupon offer, I don't remember how long ago, maybe 20 years?

After that first experience, it became my favorite go-to restaurant for after work, special occasions, out of towner recommendations.

And I've only ever had the same order every visit: Arugula salad and lobster fra diavolo.

Like many, my post-COVID relationship with Boston changed and I haven't been a 15-minute walk to Grotto since 2020.

I'm sorry that this chapter ends, and I hope to squeeze in one more visit in September before they close.
