Erin has distinguished herself
as the quintessential multimedia journalist and student leader.

She is a dynamic reporter, who has covered town halls on campus and elections in , while working as a stringer for the Associated Press.

She is also the recipient of awards and scholarships from the School of Communication, NBCU Academy, Houston Community Media and the Center for Journalism and Democracy.

Her reporting has been impactful on and off campus.

Erin has also mentored her student colleagues and helped them land assignments and jobs in media.

Above all, Erin is an amazing human being and her work exemplifies the best in journalism and in human kindness.
