This month in Peer Groups, we kicked off our Etiquette & Life Skills series with Speak Up With Grace, a conversation about effective communication, self-advocacy, and navigating adult conversations with confidence.

Participants learned practical skills for asking questions, setting boundaries, handling difficult conversations, speaking up for themselves, and communicating with clarity and respect in everyday situations.

We learned that confidence is about knowing how to communicate with grace, even in uncomfortable moments.

✨ June Peer Groups: Etiquette Month ✨

Success isn’t just about what you know. Success is also about how you communicate, present yourself, and treat others.

This month, our AIT participants will focus on building confidence through effective communication, professional language, gratitude, digital awareness, personal presentation, and dining etiquette. These practical life skills help prepare individuals for success in the workplace, in relationships, and throughout their communities.

We’re excited to learn, grow, and practice these skills together throughout June! 🌟

Our Adults in Training are coming together in their Peer Groups having fun, having real discussions, and seeing true growth. We are grateful for this space that allows them to come together in a specific way to encourage sharing life with each other!

Every class, conversation, and coaching moment is helping our AITs take meaningful steps toward independence.
We would love to add to our team of mentors who are willing to invest in one-on-one training and encouragement. Whether you have experience in hiring, interviewing, professional development, or simply a heart to support others, your time can make a lasting impact.
