The next Immunology Club meeting will be a chalk talk workshop held on Wednesday, March 11th from 12-1pm in 1SCR1.1025. We look forward to seeing you all there!

On Wednesday, Graduate School alumna Nilsa Rivera-Del Valle, PhD, right, a toxicologist with Procter & Gamble, met with GSBS student Sherille Bradley, who was recently selected to attend the P&G’s Focusing on Industrial Recruitment of Scientific Talent (FIRST) Conference in Cincinnati. At the conference, Bradley will get the opportunity to network with a group of successful scientists and other professionals, and gain a deeper understanding of the realities of cultural and workforce diversities. Rivera-Del Valle participated in this conference when she was a graduate student and the experience really helped her career path.

This passed Saturday, August 3rd, Immunology program faculty and students got together to volunteer at the Houston Food Bank. Everyone had a great time networking and serving the community!
