Got outlets recessed behind tile or backsplash? In this video I show two quick, code-friendly ways to bring them flush: box extensions (¼", ⅜", ½"—stackable) with longer 2" machine screws, and shimming the device with either classic stackable spacers or the new Unishim washers. I walk through mounting, spacing the yoke, and fine-tuning so your wall plate sits flat. We also cover pro tips (don’t overcut tile, align screw slots, and test for power before you start). The final result: safe, solid, and clean.
